One of the first things many young people ask when they arrive at the farm is, “Can I hold a chicken?” There’s something simple and sacred about the warmth of a small creature that tears down walls and breaks through even the toughest heart. For someone who’s known chaos or trauma, holding a chicken can be a first step toward peace, gentleness, and connection.

For $20 a month, you can sponsor and NAME a chicken out at the farm! Our beautiful birds also produce lovely blue, green, and brown eggs, that help our farm self-sustain. When you come and visit your chicken, a dozen farm fresh eggs will be waiting for you!
